Every fireman needs a dalmation

Saturday we went from the half marathon to cleaning up our garage sale (Thanks to my great neighbor for selling our stuff), to Bob's work party, to friends house to watch BYU game (no comment) to ward party. It was crazy busy but super fun!! Jackson loved his costume!! He kept running around when he had it on. That night at the ward party he did not want to put it on, but once he did he loved it.

Bob and I wore Boston fire dept t shirts

The kids won the costume contest at Bob's work party and the prize was one of the broken pinatas. Lol. Jack loved it though and thought the ghost looked good with his hat on.

Random pics...

Brynlee is getting closer and closer to crawling and it is freaking me out!!!

Jackson has learned that he is almost 2 and is more than willing to throw a tantrum when he wants something. He pushes the chairs around the house and thinks anything on tables and counters are okay for him to play with.

Pumpkin Patch

Generally, the weather in October is ideal!! It has been super nice, but we happened to get a heat wave the weekend we had planned to do the pumpkin patch and got to enjoy some 102 degree rays. Needless to say, we did not stay as long as planned and our beautiful fall pictures of the kids were a little disappointing!

And the winner is

4:50 am....12 weeks....13.1 miles....

For the last 12 weeks I have gotten up at 4:50 am (5 days a week), fed Brynlee, and have gone running...all in preparation to run 13.1 miles. Saturday was our half marathon. I ran and trained everyday with my sister Kim. On our long runs we had a friend join us and we all three ran the race.

I made a list of 100 goals when I graduated from high school (some long term, some short term) and one of them was to run a full marathon. Well, now I have done 2 halves and halves makes a whole...right?

Yes, we did get a few "twins" comments...that's what we were aiming for :)

Busy, busy...

Life has been very busy around here!! Bob is finishing up his busy season next week...poor guy!!! With him working tons I try to get out with the kids as much as possible to get some adult interaction. Thanks to all who joined us at parks, malls, story times, the zoo and playgroups!! I feel so lucky to have such great friends here in AZ and love hanging out and letting the kids play!

Brynlee is growing like crazy! They sure are not tiny babies for long! She is 4 1/2 mo and is rolling like crazy! She loves laying on her belly and spending time in her bumbo, jumper, and walker. She is an amazing sleeper though which has been so nice! She has been sleeping through the night for a month now! Lucky! I think after Jackson I deserved an extra good sleeper. I usually wake her up to eat at 5 so I can go running. (So she goes 9-10 hours of sleep...ahhhhh)

The weather is cooling off around here and we are loving it!!! We have been hitting up the neighborhood park and going on walks every night. I feel like the neighborhood is all coming out of hibernation and spending time outside again. I forgot how much I love our neighborhood!

Here are a few pics from the zoo the other day. It was the first time Liz and I ventured out with our 4 kids (can't say all under 2 anymore because today is Dax's birthday :) )
