Sewing Projects...

Last week I spent most of the kids nap time on the sewing machine. I am addicted! Anyways I made some ID tags for our suitcases. Pattern from here. I sewed so much I screwed up the tension on my sewing machine and am not sure how to fix out. Guess I have to put all projects on hold for a bit.

Made Jackson a pirate shirt for "Pirate Night" on our future Disney cruise

And a few outfits for our kids to wear when they meet Mickey and Minnie

Who wants to go meet Mickey Mouse? I do!!

Someone started getting sleepy...

Random Summer Pics...

Besides play groups and the occasional errands the kids and I usually just hang out around the house because it is so dang hot here! Here are a few pics of our last few weeks.

We did make it to the Children's Museum this week and Brynlee sat in a stroller for the first time without her car seat.

Brynlee is smiling like crazy now. This was the first little one I got on camera.

Jackson spends a little time every day reading

One night I was cooking dinner and noticed it was a little too quiet. Jackson had scooted a cooler over to Brynlee's only "safe spot" and joined her in the pack n play. I guess quiet is better than her screaming because he attacked her with love or squished her on the way in.

Utah...

I am finally getting around to posting our quick trip to Utah over the 24th of July. Bob's brother and his family flew in from Texas and Bob's parents here in Arizona also went up, so all of Bob's family was there except for his brother Kevin, who is on a mission. We had a wonderful weekend and got to me our newest nephew Wesley. What a cutie! He and Brynlee are cute friends already :) They are just over 3 weeks apart...how fun!!! While we were there they were each blessed and Bob's oldest nephew Mason was baptised. What a great day! I will post the pictures of those events latter :)

The cousins all really did have a blast together!!! I mean, look at this picture. Are they having fun or what?!

Before we got there I had heard that Paige (before Brynlee the only grandaughter) had a little attitude and kept asking if "the other girl" was in town yet. But once they met Paige loved her. :)

The most popular toy was the marble run where you build the marble's course and send it down. Lorinda was a pro! I was helping the kids once and Kai left to go get his mom (Lorinda) and said that she needed to come do it because "Krista is doing it wrong." I guess I need a little practice.

We started the 24th of July by trying to get a grandkids picture...you can see how successful this was. This is probably the best of 100 pictures.

Lets try a smaller group.

Our family

After our attempt at pictures we went to watch the 24th of July Parade in Ogden. Bob drove his dad's Jeep...so fun! We had a few people stare and a couple others rolled their windows down and said they loved our Jeep. We felt cool.

Hunter and Paige had the best seats in the house

We drove up to Logan for a couple days. It was so fun to just hang out with the Widmer clan. What cute kids they have!!! Jackson loved playing dress up with Kiki

Bob, Jordin, and my dad went on a long ride (like 5 hours) and drove the 4 wheelers over to Bear Lake. Jackson just went on a little ride but loved it!! He was sad when the big boys left without him.

Back in Ogden we went swimming at the Country Club

Lane took some family pictures of the whole family and each individual family. I will post those when I get them but here are just a few we took with our cameras while we were hanging out in the park
