Moab

We drove 7 1/2 hours to Moab Utah for Easter weekend and had a great time with family! We drove Thursday and got to play all day Friday, Saturday, Sunday and drove back on Monday morning. It was a quick trip but super fun to see Bob's Dad, brother Bill and his family Lorinda, Kai & Koa, brother Ben and his family Melissa & Braden, and Karen drove up for the last day.

Friday morning Bob, Jackson, and went to Arches and hiked Delicate Arch. It was a great 3 mile round trip hike. It was so beautiful to see the red rock with the snowy mountains behind it!

Granola bar in hand and juice in the other...he was good to go!

Jackson slept the whole way down
Fighting to stay awake...

...he finally gave up

There was a big Jeep Safari that occurs every year for 2 weeks in Moab. There were Jeeps everywhere!!! It was super fun to walk the streets and see decked out Jeeps! Bob's dad has a Jeep and has really enjoyed off roading. He has been to Moab the last few years and really enjoys the trails so we thought we would join him. Friday and Sunday they went on long 8+ hour trips but on Saturday they only did like a 5 hour and it was by far the safest of the weekend so we all tagged along and had a blast!!!

The group of Jeepers that Dave travels with

Melissa, Braden, Jackson, and I rode with Dave. The Jeep rocked the boys to sleep the first couple hours

This picture does not do this place justice but here is "Wipe Out Hill"
Most of us walked up the hill and let the drivers go

Only 1 Jeep in our group didn't make it up the hill on it's own. It broke some piece trying to get up a rock and they had to wench it up. Then it only had 2 wheel drive the rest of the way back so we had to pull it in a couple other spots too.

Easter

The kids loved their Easter baskets (OK maybe the mom's loved their baskets and the boys loved what was in the baskets).

Jackson loved the chocolate!!!

We went to church and then all enjoyed a short hike through the Windows section of Arches

Seriously not a fan of this picture. Could my belly look any bigger!?!? I feel like all of a sudden I just popped out!!! I guess I have less than 7 weeks left so I am supposed to be big, but seriously, yuck.

We let Jack get out a walk the last little bit before we strapped him back in the car seat

Love this picture!!

Jackson playing with his camera and saying "cheese," although he is trying to take a picture of me.

Braden and Jackson enjoying Signing Time

Happy Birthday Bob!!
April 2nd

Bob's Grandma Griffiths came to visit us this year for Bob's birthday and for the Easter Pageant at the temple. We had so much fun with her here!!! Jackson loved playing with her and she just could not get over the weather. We spent most of the week outside playing!

Bob had to work on his birthday, but met him for lunch...

Jackson was asleep when we got there

Then poor Bob had to go back to work but Grandma, Jackson, and I went to the train park

We had a small BBQ for dinner

Hope you had a great Birthday Bob!!! I love you! Thanks for being such a great husband and "dada"!!!

Ostrich Festival

Oh probably a month ago there was a Ostrich Festival in Chandler that we decided to hit up. We had a great time with Ang, Austin, and Brody, and Dave, Liz, and Dax.

Dax and Jackson...best friends

Our family

Austin won a free pony ride for helping out during the Ostrich Races. Pretty cute!

Jackson LOVES his cousins!!!

Random Pics

Jackson enjoying some ice cream

About a month ago Jackson had a couple of days that he was super tired (which is not like him!!) and he kept falling asleep before I put him down for a nap...

Jackson still loves to play at the mall. And now he loves it even more since he has mastered climbing the baseball glove and ball

Sexy...I know. I can't even remember what happened but we were going to put pajamas on Jack one night and he started running around with just his socks and shoes on. In the second picture he is showing us his muscles. :)

We had a super fun visit from the Hirschi's this month! My cousin Mark came to town for a racquetball tournament at ASU and it was super fun to go and watch! We got to spend some time together eating out and hanging out watching conference. It was great to see you Hirschis!!!

Bob put Kim's jacket on Jackson

The Flakes also came to town a couple weeks ago and we spent some time at the zoo and at the park.

Anyone with blogging advice hook me up! I am still trying to figure this thing out :) Hey does anyone know a way to upload a ton of pictures at once instead of 5 at a time???

Hey, I also left a comment on your xanga because for some reason the system was down but I just thought it was me and that it had something to do with you switching to blog???? Anyway, here I am and I've figured it out. It sounds like you guys have been very busy. Lots of fun pictures. Happy Birthday to Bob, hope you guys had a great day together. By the way you look great with only 7 weeks left! You're the women for all that hiking you did! I hope you keep your xanga account so that you can still access my xanga site? I thought about switching to blog too but decided that I'm comfortable and familiar with xanga. We'll see how it works now that I'm private. Glad you're all doing great!

Hey!! Love all those cute pictures!! Looks like you guys had fun! As for the uploading if more than 5 at a time...I have no clue. I just do it 5 at a time...kind on annoying. Love your prego belly. I was brave and posted pictures of mine!

Hi! I left a comment on your old blog, but i didn't know if you were still checking it...
I'd love to include the basket(s) you made from the dabbled.org pattern. Do you mind if I use the pics with a link back to you?

email me or come post on dabbled and let me know.

thanks!

You guys sure do keep busy! Love your hiking pics. I have really taken to hiking this year...not brave enough when my kids were younger.
On Sundays, I love to see Jackson(and Bob) peeking through the nursery window. Jackson is just so darn cute!
For the picture thing, I like to use the Picasa Collages. I can group all the pictures I want into one thing. Then, if you don't center the picture, it can be clicked on to be seen closer up.
Glad you came over to blogger, so I can feel less like a stalker and leave comments!
