Good Nite Lite

Have you ever heard of a Good Nite Lite? I thought I would pass on some information.

Basically it is a night light that you put in your kids room. It has a built in clock so you program the night light for the moon to come on at bed time and stay on until you want the sun to come on in the morning. The purpose is that when your kid wakes up, they know if it is night or morning. And if they are waking up way to early, you can try to change their internal clock by making the sun comes on 5 minutes later each day and eventually get them waking up at a normal time.

As you know, Jackson has ALWAYS been an early riser! Generally, he is usually up between 6 and 6:15, but every couple months he goes through a 5 o clock stage. I heard about this clock over a year ago and thought it sounded like a great idea, but did not want to fork up the $32 it costs and the $8 shipping. Well here we are a year later, and his sleep habits are not any better.

My sisters Kim and Ang bought him one for his birthday (which is tomorrow, but his party was Saturday) and he LOVES it!!!

He can't wait to see the moon at bed time and has done really good staying in bed until the sun comes on in the morning. We had to take him back the bed the first day or two when he came out before the sun was on, but he has stayed on his own the last couple days.

If you have an early riser...I definitely recommend it!
