Weekend pics...

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! We spent the day with Bob's parents here in Mesa and had a great, relaxing weekend. It is always fun to go out of town on holidays...but also fun to stay home!! We got a lot of things done around the house, watched a lot of football, and hit up a lot of black Friday deals!!! Probably our favorite was a new beach cruiser bike. We already had 1 bike and the bike trailer but we needed 1 more. We went on our first family bike ride on Saturday and we all loved it! (sorry no pics) Friday night Ang had us over for delicious Chinese Sundaes. YUMMY!!! We all had a good time hanging out and the kids played great together!

We all ate some yummy food!

Brynlee is always sucking on her fingers or toes!!

It is so fun to have a toddler around at Christmas. He is loving the Christmas lights and decorations! Every night we have to walk around and see all the lights in the neighborhood. We finished up our decorating last night when we finished the tree. He was loving put the decorations on...now let's hope that they stay on!

Let the Christmas season begin!!!

Here is a video of Brynlee in the early stage of crawling

football game...

Last weekend Bob, Brynlee and I went to the U of A vs U of O football game. We sat by my Uncle Gene and had a great time! I haven't been to a college football game in 3 years so it was super fun. For probably the first quarter Brynlee would cry when the crowd got really loud, but then she got used to it. It was a really good game though and Oregon ended up pulling it off in overtime.

Jackson got to hang out with Kim all afternoon/evening and they had a blast together! Thanks Kim!!!

Jackson's Birthday...

We spent Jackson's birthday at the zoo. Even though the kids and I go there often, Jackson loves it...and it is a special treat to have Bob go with us! We had a great day and stopped at Chick Fil A for lunch so Jackson could play.

In November our zoo got a new Komodo dragon and it was our first time seeing it. Well after we looked at it for a while we were walking away and put Jackson on this statue and he totally thought it was real! The whole time he was on it he never even looked up. :) So here he is riding the Komodo dragon at the zoo.

Can I just say I LOVE our stroller!! We bought the Sit N Stand deluxe that came with 2 seats. I loved it when Brynlee was in her car seat and continued to love it when they both sat in the seats. Then about a month ago Jackson started refusing to sit in it and he always wanted to "walk." Of course, I was constantly chasing him through the mall, zoo, and everywhere else you can think of.

So instead of pushing a double stroller around with only 1 child in it and having another child running away from me, I decided to take off the back seat so that I would have a sit n stand. Ahhhh!!! Jackson loves to be able to stand on it and go for a "ride." Once again, I love our stroller!!!

After Jackson's nap and dinner and went to Cold Stone for ice cream. It was crazy busy so we took our ice cream across the street toMcDonald's and ordered another ice cream and ate it all there. I was very disappointed in the cleanliness of the play area...so gross!! I will not go into detail...let's just say it will be a LONG time before I go back!!!

Jackson's Birthday Party...

Jackson is 2!!

Jackson had a car/truck birthday party this year. He loves cars and I thought it would be a fun and easy theme. We had it at a neighborhood park and had the kids all bring their tricycles, bikes, or cars to ride on. We also had a bounce house and of course the play structure for more entertainment.

The weather was okay. It rained for about 5 minutes just as we were starting to set up and it sprinkled for probably 10 minutes as we cleaned up. What are the odds...I swear it only rains here 10 days a year!!! But it was really nice during the party which was great!

We had a great turnout and I know Jackson LOVED having is best friends around! I have heard him a couple times since saying "Party...Austin. Party...Laney. Party...Dax." And naming his friends who came.

Dax is a little stud on his bike!!

Kids got some use out of the car table.

Before we had any cake or ice cream we saw Jackson walking around eating a cupcake. That little sneak. :)

Cute Grandma and Brynlee played the whole party. :)
Brynlee is constantly sucking on her fingers!!! And it's these two fingers 95% of the time.

The grub...

Party favors...

Happy Birthday Jackson!!!

Bob is taking tomorrow off. Can't wait to celebrate a little more!!!
